Background

For over 20 years Pulse has been a leading manufacturer of waterbased and UV coatings for the global printing industry, with coatings to fit all applications from food packaging to commercial printing. Their latest range features antimicrobial coatings with Biomaster technology, and are the exclusive UK distributor for Epple inks and have a newly opened automated ink mixing facility using the Epple base system.

Pulse have always been keen on ensuring that they operate in the most environmentally friendly possible manner possible and as part of their long term sustainability programme, the installation of a solar energy system was the next logical step.

Through site surveys, Centreco selected to design and install a bespoke 115kW Solar Energy system that closely matches their electricity usage profile to ensure the best long term commercial returns.
